SAGA DAWA: During the fourth month of the Lunar calander, on the auspicious occassion of Buddha Purnima popularly known as ‘Saga Dawa’, we observe a great festivity of offerings and prayers during which Gonjang Rinpoche blesses the day by imparting religious discourse and give empowerment to hundreds of devotees attended in the day for his blessing.
DROOGPA TSE-SHI: During the sixth month of the lunar calander, the auspicious occassion of commemorating the Buddha’s first turning the wheel of the Dharma, we observe this festival in a traditional way. Religious discourse and talks are organized for the disciple who took part and witness it.
Similarly, other special occassions like ‘Pang Lhasol’ and ‘Lhabab Duchen', we observe these days with special prayers and offering by worshipping the guardian deity of Sikkim and Buddha Shakya Muni respectively.
The annual puja celebration of ‘Vajra kilay Dubpa’ and ‘Drowa kundrol practice’ - liberation for all living beings of the samsara are observed every year in the month of 9th and 10th.
These prayers or Drubpa are considered to be one of the most important pujas celebrated in our monastery.
Finally, entourage of monks to the holy places like Bodh Gaya, Varanasi, Rajgriha were scheduled every december and Janaury, when thousands of devotees from all over the world gather to take part in the Nyingma International Peace Aspiration Prayer (Nyingma Monlam)
Above all we organize each time, seminars, talks and religious discourse to promote and preserve our spiritual heritage among the future generations to cultivate the moral discipline necessary for training and transfering our mind..
